1. Services
Globreach Auto ("we", "us", "our") provides proxy bidding, export coordination, ocean freight, and customs clearance facilitation for US auction vehicles destined for Lagos, Nigeria and Cotonou, Benin. We act as your agent — we do not take title to vehicles for our own account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts in your jurisdiction. By submitting a bid request, you confirm you have the legal right to import a motor vehicle into your destination country and that you will satisfy all applicable import duties and regulations.
3. Bid Requests
Submitting a bid request through our platform does not constitute a binding purchase order. A bid becomes binding only after: (a) we confirm the maximum bid with you via WhatsApp or email, and (b) you explicitly confirm in writing (message or email) that you wish to proceed. We will never place a bid on your behalf without your explicit written confirmation.
4. Payment
Upon winning an auction, full payment is due within 48 hours of invoice delivery. Payment is accepted by bank wire transfer only. Invoices include: the auction purchase price, buyer fees charged by Copart or IAAI, our service fee (5% of auction price, minimum $150), ground transport, ocean freight, and marine insurance. Late payment may result in storage fees or vehicle abandonment at the auction yard, for which we are not liable.
5. All Sales Final
All auction purchases are final. Auction houses (Copart, IAAI) do not accept returns or cancellations after a bid is won. By confirming a bid request, you acknowledge that vehicles are sold as-is, with the condition described in the auction listing. We do not inspect, test, or verify vehicle condition beyond what is shown in auction photos and damage reports.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Transit times are estimates. Ocean freight schedules are subject to vessel availability, port congestion, weather, and carrier delays beyond our control. We are not liable for delays in ground transport, vessel loading, ocean transit, or port clearance. Risk of loss passes to you at the time the vehicle is loaded onto the vessel. Marine insurance is arranged on your behalf and covers the CIF value of the vehicle.
7. Customs & Import Duties
You are solely responsible for all customs duties, taxes, levies, and port charges at the destination country. Customs figures we provide are estimates only — final amounts are determined by customs authorities at the port of entry. We facilitate clearance through our local agents but do not guarantee the outcome of customs assessment.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you is limited to the service fee paid to Globreach Auto for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: vehicle damage during transit, delays, loss of use, loss of business, or currency fluctuation losses.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms or a transaction shall be first attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at info@globreachauto.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your bid confirmation governs that transaction. Continued use of our services after a terms update constitutes acceptance.
