Notes on Customs Duties
Nigeria (Lagos): Import duty is approximately 35% of the CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) value. This is levied by the Nigeria Customs Service. Additional levies like ETLS and CISS may apply.
Benin (Cotonou): Import duty under the ECOWAS Common External Tariff is approximately 20% of CIF. Benin is a popular transit country with lower duties than Nigeria.
